INGREDIENTS:<\/p>\n
4 ripe bananas\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n1 cup whole wheat flour\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n1\/3 cup All-purpose flour<\/p>\n
1 tsp. cinnamon<\/span><\/p>\n1\/2 tbsp. baking powder\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n1\/4 cup coconut sugar <\/span><\/p>\n1<\/span> egg<\/span><\/p>\n1\/4 cup honey\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n1\/3 cup almond milk\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n1\/2 cup coconut oil, melted (additional for parchment paper)<\/span><\/p>\n1\/2 cup walnuts<\/span><\/p>\nDIRECTIONS:<\/p>\n
\n- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mash bananas and add coconut sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and baking powder \u2014 mix well.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- Next, add almond milk and coconut oil and mix well.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- Add the egg and flour and stir till mix is consistent. TIP: sift flour into mixture\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- Lastly, add walnuts.<\/span><\/li>\n
- In a loaf pan, add parchment paper (spread with coconut oil) and pour mix in.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
TIP: The side of my banana bread stuck to the parchment paper, so to avoid that, take a flat metal spatula, and do your best to separate the bread from the parchment paper when it comes out of the oven.
